Lancome has always launched incredibly products, and the Lash Idole Mascara is no different. First, let’s go over the packaging. It’s very lightweight and as a plastic feel, but the rose gold and black color make it look incredibly luxurious. We’d give it a 8/10.

After a thorough review, we can agree that this mascara meets all these claims! The formula looks like any other mascara, but it slides on your lashes very smoothly without clumping them together. It’s not a watery mascara, but it’s not too thick either. One of the main pros of this mascara is that it instantly provides fuller lashes, so if you’re someone with sparse, or short lashes, give this one a try.
The formula makes it comfortable on the eyes and has a weightless feel.
The curved wand makes it easier to follow the natural round shape of our eyes and makes it easier to grab every lash from inner corner to outer corner. It lifts them all up at the same time without you needing to do the inner corner separately or trying to get the outer corner lashes the same length.
The curved wand also makes it easier to get the lashes on your waterline because you can do one sweep without poking your eye out.
Let’s go through some other claims. This mascara does not flake which is an instant winner in my books. Because of the smooth formula, once it dries down, it’s not going anywhere. Next, it does not smudge on the outer corners, and you can layer it without it looking clumpy. Even if you layer it, it’ll still feel light weight.
Finally, it’s very easy to remove. Just take some micellar water on a cotton pad and the mascara will glide right off.
The Cons
Not every product is a 100% perfect. Here are some cons:

- Non-lengthening
One of the cons with this mascara is that it doesn’t a curl as well as some other mascaras. It provides instant volume and curl, but don’t expect it to hold up all day. This is most defiantly a lifting/volumizing mascara, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t provide a lot of length.
