Step aside skinny jeans, Gen Z brought on a new wave of jeans that have us either embracing the new look, or clinging on to our old jeans for dear life. I’m not saying skinny jeans are completely out, but it doesn’t hurt to try something new.
Straight leg pants especially mom jeans, boyfriend jeans and distressed jeans have been pushing their way through 2021. You see on Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat – everyone is showing off their outfits and they are embracing the new look. These jeans can range from super straight to a wide leg, which is equally stylish – but can be a tad difficult to style.
We recommend styling any straight leg or wide leg jeans with a tight top – a body suit, crop top, or cute short cardigan. And if you’re a millennial jumping on this trend we also recommend styling the jeans with a blouse, or button up for a mature look for work or a day out.
