Happy Friday! / Loving Lately, Volume 10

Friday Favorites_01105

I’m going to keep things pretty brief around here since it’s Friday and I started a new job this week and have been excitedly learning the ropes all week (I’ll be managing social media and helping with content and marketing initiatives for Cava Mezze Grill, for those of you who asked). To hold you over ’till Monday though, I wanted to share a fave things on my radar lately…

I know it’s very Valentine’s-y this time of year, but I love the ballsy-ness of pink and red together — and I’m equally hooked on sleek black and white looks, particularly this oversized tailored look that’s equal parts chic and comfy. I’ve also been starting to get the bug to finally get my studio looking more refined and I’ve been pinning apartment looks like crazy — especially this eclectic image that pairs chic, modern lines with vintage-y elements. And last but not least, I absolutely love the idea of Bon Appetit’s Food Lover’s Cleanse. I first saw the one they released last year and was intrigued, and this year’s sounds equally delicious… though I feel like I wouldn’t actually be able to pull it off — not because of the food (which all sounds fab), but because of the time and monetary commitment it would take (I feel as though there isn’t as much attention to using overlapping ingredients or making use of leftovers as I’d like there to be).

And also, have you seen this or this? Because apparently home décor and cake are equally important to me, go figure!

it’s definitely a production and seems like it’d be pricy, but it’s great inspiration for one-off recipes, too
